“What can I say... Perfect in every way !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2012 via mobile

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome,Sonia and Graham are the friendliest couple I have ever had the pleasure to know as a mother of four you can understand my apprehension, a lively four year old sharing someone else's house left me more than anxious. All I can say is what a place to stay, children were more than catered for and we were all made to feel so welcome, so much so it turned out Sonia was putting me at ease.
The room was fantastic, we stayed in the Affric suite which had a seperate room equipped with bunkbeds, single bed, television and DVD this left my husband and I feelings as though we were holidaying alone ;) .
The children loved it, we have been to Disney World and Europe and when asked where would they rather be, they all said here !! They enjoyed horse riding, feeding the lambs, woodland walks and playing with the Siamese cats Cara, Sacha and Roley.
We were looking for a family holiday in the Scottish highlands and all I can say is this was the perfect place to spend it,.
The food was fabulous if the wide array of fabulous breakfasts didn't push your buttons, then they were more than happy to cater to your needs. We arrived on the first night to a fabulous 2 course Scottish Faye, all I can say is my children for the first time ever cleared their plate , no questions asked.
This bed and breakfast had everything that my family could ever ask for, their hospitality was second to none, the rooms were fabulous and well equipped, they had every game and DVD that a person could ever need and the fact that they were on a farm with horses, lambs, sheep was the cherry on the cake.
My family loved it here, so much so we are looking to go back in August so my children and my husband and I can enjoy all the spoils of the Scottish highlands and the Great Glen Bed and Breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Sonia and Graham are wonderful hosts who provided a delicious meal for us the night of our arrival and our accomodations worked very well for us and our two teenage girls. The animals were a huge hit and we were fortunate enough to be there during "lambing" season. Twins were born our last night there and the girls were able to hold the older twins that were born two weeks prior. The inn is wonderfully located in a gorgeous area by Loch Ness and Sonia and Graham were very flexible with our schedule, booking dinner for us at a delightful restaurant overlooking the loch and then setting up a very early breakfast for us on our departure day so we could travel to catch the ferry in Oban. We would highly recommend this B&B to all and hope to return here again. Thanks for you gracious hospitality and the delightful memories, Sonia and Graham. Sonia, we love the term, "fussy-pot" and our picky eater has embraced it and it served us well in the rest of our travels. Very descriptive. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: The Affrican Suite was great for the four of us. We were traveling with our two teenage daughters a...

We stayed with 2 children an 8 year old and a 4 year old.AS stated by many reviews the layout was excellent as was our cooked breakfast. The children loved the garden with goal post swing and trampoline. We loved the walk way accross the road were there is a nature walk along a stream/river and some friendly sheep who come running over when you enter the gate. We really enjoyed our stay in Inverness and it was great to know after a day out travelling and sight seeing we could go back and relaxin in the garden with a cuppa while the children could run around outside. We stayed in the affric suite which has a room seperate for the children connected through a bathroom they can only exit by walking through the bathroom and out of the adults room.. They had a great time feeding and visiting the animals.. While there we also used the hot tub which everyone loved..You will need a car to access any areas but that is common for this area.

This b&b more than lived up to the website and other reviews. We arrived weary from a long trip and other activities to this beautiful home which has the perfect mix of privacy for guests (with the rooms coming out on to the front balcony), spacious and luxurious accommodation, and a warm welcome. Our room also had a small kitchen area at one end, and the spaciousness also gave us a table and seating area by the window. We enjoyed an excellent night's sleep and a first class breakfast. This B+B is ideally located to allow access to the beauty of the area. We shall be returning later in the year to use it as a base to walk the North Highland Way. Sonia and Graham are great enthusiasts for the area and are keen to give ideas and guidance of places to go and things to do.

We were looking for a typically Scottish overnight accomodaton for our friends from New York, who love animals......particularly sheep!!! We certainly werent disappointed. This amazing place has everything.........Sonia and Graham are wonderful hosts, the accomodation and food are first class and the whole experience was so memorable, we shall certainly be back for more. We would recommend this awesome place to anyone. Thank you, Sonia and Graham......our sister and brother-in-law were blown away by the true Scottish hospitality and the standard of personal touches that made our brief stay so so special.
