We came for a 3 night camping trip with the family! We were worried about taking our dog, making a noise but she was so quiet! Unfortunately I wish i could say the same for the neighbours who were partying untill 6 in the morning, shouting and swearing!! We were that exhausted and cold we went home early. Don't know if I would return but definitely wouldn't camp again. The facilities seemed great but we didn't manage much as we had our dog with us. The beach was beautiful and the little cafe along from the beach was gorgeous, which was dog friendly :) think my son spend the best of £50 in the arcades though! We did enjoy ourselves but getting no sleep wasn't really what we expected.

Dear Monkeyk92
Thanks for taking the time to review our Park. We are delighted that you were impressed with our facilities and our dog friendly beach. We do provide a phone number in our welcome book for our Park Warden who is happy to assist if you are experiencing excess noise - we are sorry to hear this was the case. We hope to welcome you back here again in the future.
Kind regards
The Silver Sands Team

The location is the big selling point of this site, steps from the beach across the dunes. The swimming pool and gym are both great and free, and the on-site fish and chips are great too! Other bonuses are the kids play area and the size of the caravan pitches, lots of room. However you can't book a pitch so if you have paid for a superpitch get there early as there are a few close to the main through road which are not great - the lower priced pitches are better located. The shower blocks are clean, modern and warm, but could be doing with a more thorough scrub. Didn't use the clubhouse so can't comment but it always looked busy. Loads to do nearby, didn't get it all done in a week.

Room tip: corner plots on the tourer sites are very big

Had a great break here. Staff at reception friendly and helpful. Booked an original caravan which turned out to be newly refitted, . The caravan had all we required. Easy access to a fantastic beach. Made good use of the swimming pool too. Great location for touring the wee fishing villages along the coast. Would recommend to families and friends alike.

Great short family break.
Never been before, and would love to come back in the future.
Plenty for kids to do, and the beach is to die for, especially on a sunny day.
Indoor Pool is a bit small but who cares as long as theres not much wind, a day at the beach makes up for it.

Booked a five night stay camping in July. On first arrival site seemed a bit run down, more mud than grass, showers messy and some hook up points not working. Was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday so was shocked and annoyed when we were kept up till past 2am by partying neighbours. No sign of a warden to settle things down. When complained the next day to office staff we were met with indifference. No notes were taken and nothing was done. This happened several times during our stay. Won't be rushing back as site is a bit run down and way to noisy and rowdy. We like to get some sleep! Shame as could be quite a nice site.

Dear Yvonne
Thank you for taking the time to review our park. We are sorry to hear that your holiday did not fully meet your expectations and that our Park was not to your liking. There is a mobile number in the welcome book we provide for our warden who can be called any time of the day and we would encourage our guests to report excessive noise as it happens.
Kind regards
The Silver Sands Team.
