The Courtyard was very good. Well furnished and a great range of utensils/crockery - everything you need. Owner was very helpful - especially shortbread on arrival - very welcome after along journey. Also being able to open the balcony door on sunny mornings was a real bonus - even if it is cool outside it's a real sun trap. Aberdour is lovely. The two beaches are very different. Great coastal walks in both directions and also into the hills above Burntisland with amazing views of the Firth of Forth with it's islands, awe inspiring bridges and over to Edinburgh and the Pentland hills beyond. Even if you don't catch the train you should visit the station and the sensory garden across the road. Good location near to shops and pubs. The Cedar Inn was best in our opinion.
This apartment is beautiful! Well-furnished, very well equipped and very comfortable. The rooms are all a good size, the kitchen especially is a well organised space.
The apartment is well-placed for exploring the region - by car or by train, as it is close to the station. We went to Edinburgh on the train so that we had no worries driving or looking for parking in a place we did not know well.
We loved Aberdour itself and walked around the coast road...beautiful views!
We plan to return next year as we enjoyed our stay so much.
