“Hotel Nice But Not Baby Friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2012

Having stayed at the hotel for one night as guests of a wedding it was a brief stay in the actual room itself.

The room itself was adequate with free tea and coffee with shortbread and free Wi-Fi was good to see. The bed was comfy and the bathroom adequate, although the lights were quite dim.

My wife and I brought had brought our young son with us and we were supplied with a travel cot even if it took up quite a large portion of the room it served its purpose. The main problem however, was with the access to the room itself, through numerous sets of doors of which some pulled open while others had to be pushed. There was also a small flight of approximately 3/4 steps up to the room level as well as the large flight of stairs down from reception and the main hall (although disabled lifts were available). Unfortunately we had a pram and trying to overcome these obstacles was a two person job, made even harder late at night.

Breakfast was as nice and as expected, a full fry or cereal, bread etc, and the usual drinks.

The wedding reception was lovely including the meal which we enjoyed. If access had of been easier for parents with a pram/buggy I would have no problem with the hotel.

Booked one night away with the missus to recharge our batteries. From the minute we arrived we were extremely impressed by the service of the very hard working staff, the meal we had booked as part of a deal was second to none!!. Have had a few bad experiences of meal deals but not so with the Rosspark.rooms were immaculate and one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. just what we have come to expect from this fine hotel which is blissfully free from road traffic noise. Thanks for everything and making our short stay so enjoyable.

Stayed 3 days in October for a family wedding.
I really liked being out in the countryside. The staff looked after
us well. Great breakfast and the room was not to bad.
I would haved liked an easier access way to the rooms.
Will likely use it as my homebase for my next family visit.

Dear Guest

Thank you for your review of your visit to Rosspark hotel, for a family wedding.

The countryside setting of the hotel makes it a very popular choice for a relaxing break and also for business guests as it is centrally located to Belfast, the North Coast, airports and ferry terminals.

I am delighted to hear you were well looked after during your stay and that you have decided to return to the hotel for your next family visit to Northern Ireland.

Thanks again and kind regards

The rossparkl hotel in Northern Ireland is a great hotel, located about 30mins from Belfast. The 'In The Middle Of Nowhere' feel is what makes this hotel that little bit extra special, giving the hotel a nice and quiet location.

The hotel is family run, with some great members of staff who are only to eager to please. The hotel itself is very smart and clean. The rooms are pretty spacious with spotless bathrooms, the rooms are very clean with nice comfy beds and very warm rooms. Depending on rooms, you have walk in showers to bathtubs with overhead showers.

The food is pretty amazing at this hotel, for the price you pay you get a great meal, that is sure to please anyone who chooses to eat and stay here. The breakfast is pretty smashing too, with the usual options.

As I stayed here for work purposes if I was to go to NI for a private holiday I would more then likely choose to stay here as it is that nice and friendly, a great warming atmosphere can be had here.

There is free WIFI which is always a major plus for any hotel stays, with a pretty decent reception.

A great stay!
