Great view of thhe sea. Room was clean and comfortable. After other hotels on tour that were lesser quality this was so good to be there. Breakfast was good, service was good. Would stay again. Loved the northern coast.

BallyGally castle hotel is right on the sea and it's simply beautiful. I unfortunately did not have time to take in all the amenities at BallyGally Castle, but the little I saw was simply spectacular. Their Game of Thrones door one enters into the dining room through also is simply great!

Staff at this establishment take great care to offer personable, competent and reliable service. Checking in and staying here is not simply renting a room, it's being welcomed into an accommodation where the people are highly service oriented and capable. Their mission is clearly to look after you and ensure that you are kept in comfort for the duration of your stay.

I highly reccomend the cheesecake for dessert. :)

This place was nice but a bit underwhelming based on pictures and reviews. Parking lot is across the street, not a long walk by any means but when you have several big suitcases it seems like a mile. When we returned last night after a long day of sightseeing there were no parking places. While husband sat in car I ran inside to ask what to do. We could park around the corner in a convenience store lot. Castle was having a wedding and another party so no spots available to paying hotel guests, not good customer service. We had the early 2 course special in the Garden Restaurant on Friday night. Shrimp scampi was friend shrimp, not shrimp sautéed in butter and lemon juice. The same food was being served in the lounge in the same cute container. Breakfast was served buffet style. Our room was nice and we did have a seaside view, make sure you request that. We checked out the haunted room. Not really scary. Only part of the hotel is a castle and no one stays in that side. The garden area is pretty but the trout stream smells like dead fish. The saving grace of this place is the beautiful scene. If it's clear you can see Scotland. Make sure you walk the small beach area. We met a local woman who shared insights about Northern Ireland.

Dear nursemurphy13,

Maany thanks for your review from your recent stay at the Ballygally Castle.

I am glad to read that you found room nice with a sea view.

We are sorry that you did not get a space in our car park when returning to the hotel, We do have car parking spaces both in our car park directly across the road and also at the village car park just yards from the property. Of course our staff can offer help with bags for you if you need that.

I am not sure why you thought our photos were photo-shopped online, I can assure you this is not the case, all our photography is organised through our group marketing department at our Head Office.

Please do let me know if you would like to discuss this further.

Warmest Regards

We can't praise the Ballygally Hotel enough for their attention to every detail on our daughter Rebecca's wedding day (28/09/17) and for their help in the time leading up to it.
Norman, thank you to you and your team. Every single person without exception couldn't do enough for us.
The Food was exceptional and well presented. The rooms clean and the decor pleasing and the comfortable beds were mentioned so many times that I lost count.
If anyone is currently looking for a great venue to hold their wedding, based on the experience we had, I'd say, look no further, it's all here.
The Beach, The beautiful Gardens, The bay window in the function room overlooking the gardens, with its gazebo, bridge and sea view made a beautiful backdrop and many a couple took photos right there.
Before the wedding we made several trips for lunch and our experience was always the same. So from us parents, we can't thank the hotel enough for making our daughter and son-in-laws day so special.

Room Tip: Sea view or garden view both are equally great
