“The best place to enjoy English country life”
Reviewed 21 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have stayed a week in lovely Belview Cottage. The house is very clean and well equipped, specially the kitchen. Absolutely 5 star. For a family with two little children (5 and 2) it has been like a little paradise.Children loved the view of sheeps, cows and horses from their bedroom window. Parents enjoyed the peace that this cottage gave to us. The location is ideal for trips to the coast an other villages, and there are plenty of foot paths to take. Very good wi-fi and nice welcome treat with tea and delicious dorset cookies.

“Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings”
Reviewed 6 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We have just returned from a 5 day break in this lovely cottage. It is the cleanest and best equipped holiday cottage we have stayed in. Even if I try hard I can't fault it. We took our small dog and everything she needed was there, including a small garden which was very secure (which was good as she wanted to play next door with the sheep). It is ideally placed for trips to the coast or country villages. There are plenty of good walks near by and people we met in the village were very friendly. The views from the bedrooms are lovely. We look forward to returning for another peaceful break.

“Peaceful, comfortable and immaculate cottage in rural Dorest”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Absolutely five star cottage. Gillian and Brian seem to have thought of everything from games, books and DVDs on Dorset to a very well equipped kitchen. Everything absolutely immaculate, good wi-fi. Great base for country walking or trips along the coast. Would highly recommend to all. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks a lot.

“Wonderful family retreat”
Reviewed 24 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Just returned from a long weekend get-together with the family. We have stayed in quite a few cottages but none so clean and well equipped. Well done to the Gillian and Brian and thank you for making us feel so welcome.

“quiet retreat”
Reviewed 5 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

The owners proved to be helpful and kind. It seemed they had thought of everything you might need. The cottage was immaculate, bright and shiny. One of the first cottages we stayed in where there was plenty of light to read a newspaper or book in the evening. Great location to visit intersesting towns and cities and go for walks.
The only drawback was the bedrooms- the sloping ceilings made it difficult to manoeuvre.
In short, a great retreat.
