“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 17 January 2013 for a stay in January 2013

I have just returned from Eagles Nest with a group of girl friends, eight of us in total.
The house is amazing, very spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a very large kitchen which is very well equipped with everything you could need. The table has ample room to seat eight and the welcome pack full of great quality goodies was most appreciated.
The three bedrooms are roomy and two have very nice en suites. The beds with high quality cotton bedding were among the most comfortable I've ever slept in.
Outside is a very large garden with views across open countryside, and the hot tub was a real hit with us ladies!
The cottage is ideally situated, and is just a short drive into Bridport, Westbay and Eype.
It's the perfect place for a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

“Amazing cottage!”
Reviewed 7 January 2013 for a stay in January 2013

Eagles Nest is the most amazing cottage! The entrance lobby is huge and welcoming, and it was lovely to have a perfect real Christmas tree lit up and waiting for us. The huge kitchen is superbly equipped, and it was a welcoming surprise to have a basket of goodies waiting for us on the table: tea, real coffee, biscuits, bread, milk etc! The hot tub was such a treat, especially after the many long walks we did in the surrounding areas. The bedrooms were all spacious and cosy with huge beds and luxurious linen - lovely to have robes provided! If you are staying in or near Symondsbury you really should consider Eagles Nest, you most definitely won't be disappointed!

“Our Dorset hideaway”
Reviewed 13 December 2012 for a stay in December 2012

This is not the first time that I have stayed at Eagles Nest, the first time was at the end of March this year when in the property appeared in response to my search “Cottage hot tub and dog friendly” We enjoyed it so much the first time, we re-booked so we could take friends and family with us.
This property has been refurbished to the highest standards, and in addition to a beautiful location it offers fabulous accommodation, together with a host of desirable extras. From the minute you enter the kitchen and find the welcome pack packed with delicious high quality foods, to the milk and bottle of wine chilling in the large American style fridge you instinctively know that you have chosen well.
We loved the lovely family kitchen, inglenook fireplace with the log fire, flat screen TV & the convenience of wifi; not to mention the large hot tub. Two of the three bedrooms have on suite facilities; the third has a bathroom next door. The beds are fabulous, offering a perfect night’s sleep. Eagles Nest is a perfect base from which to plan visits to the many local attractions, including the beautiful Jurassic beaches, and nearby resorts.
Bridport is close enough to enable restocking of supplies without stress, and the village pub, the Ilchester Arms offers a range of excellent foods, wines and beers and very warm welcome.
We can’t wait to return to West Dorset to explore some of the other Symondsbury estate properties!

“Chocolate Box Cottage with huge comfy beds”
Reviewed 9 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Three bedroomed thatched cottage with two en-suites plus main bathroom (so no queing for showers). Really really comfortable, with plenty of space for the 6 of us and the dogs not to be on top of each other and we all enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a hit and the table tennis in the barn a plus for rainy days. Cottage very central for travelling out and about to explore the beautiful countryside. The local pub was very welcoming and friendly and only down the road. We have all agreed we would definately like to rent this cottage again in the future.
