“Lovely, cozy cottage by the sea”
Reviewed 10 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

A lovely, relaxing weekend away in Morthoe.
The cottage is lovely, clean and cozy with a wonderful open fire, just right for a cold evening, after surfing at Woolacombe
Very friendly people to deal with and scones and clotted cream on arrival from the neighbour.
Definitely will go back.

“Fantastic. Would highly recommend :)”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We visited over the Easter bank holiday and had a fantastic time. The cottage was warm and cosy and the view is amazing. Had everything we needed and easy to access local beaches, pubs etc. We will be returning in the future!

We arrived at 9pm to find the cottage twinkling with fairy lights in the sitting room, thanks to Carol who had made sure the heating was on and everything was warm and welcoming.

The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable, especially the double. There is a good wifi connection, a little courtyard out the back where you could dry wetsuits etc, and a long garden in front where you could sit out and watch the sunset. The car parking space at the end of the garden is very useful.

You can see the sea, and it is only about 10 minutes walk down to the beaches of Woolacombe. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.
