Lovely barn, spacious, well equipped and beautiful surroundings. The beaches in the local area are stunning and the coastal walks well worth the effort. I would recommend a trip to hope cove, pretty village by the sea, the hope and anchor pub there does great food and has a good range of beer!

I stayed at Swallow Barn for a long weekend at the end of March with my family (3 children aged 6, 2 and 1).

The Barn was perfect and equipped with everything needed, including stairgate and cot. The facilities are ideal for young children with a play area, outdoor toys and the animals. Helping feed the chickens was a big hit with all the family. The location is ideal to explore Devon with so many local options to choose from.

Overall a fantastic holiday option, we will definitely stay again.

Lovely place. The owners are very accomadating. Great surroundings. A very nice place to relax and re-charge! The coast/beach is very close. Lovely area opposite with great facilities for children to enjoy. The lama's are great. There are also free range chickens. The eggs are lovely!

A lovely traditional farmhouse a little inland between Dartmouth & Kingsbridge. 3 beautifully modernised en suite bedrooms (1with 4 poster) All the usual tea/ coffee etc, but also a small fridge & a safe. Breakfasts were brilliant-Aga cooked with local bacon & sausages, home grown eggs!! & local bread.
For animal lovers Sue Pound keeps chickens, ducks & has 3 alpacas & 2 horses.
B & B rates are a steal-£70 per room, if you stay just 1 night, but only £60 each night if you stay 2 or more.
Oh & she also has 2 s/c barn conversions & a cute cottage for 2.
For golfers like us, Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is only 10mins drive.

Beautiful renovated barns which are comfortable and spotless. Everything needed for self catering is provided with the added bonus of bed linen and towels. Set in a rural, peaceful setting yet only a short drive to Kingsbridge for shopping. There are several lovely beaches approx. 10 miles away. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable holiday and hope to visit again.
