Very welcoming and attentive hosts, starting off with complimentary tea and cake on the lawn on arrival. Very conveniently located within yards of the South West Coast Path. We had a sea view room which whilst a bit on the small side, had everything we needed including home made biscuits.
Excellent breakfast, all beautifully cooked. Highly recommend.

Walking the South West Coast Path in August (peak season) and only requiring one night can be a difficult task but not for Nick and Rachel who were only too happy to accommodate me. I arrived soaking wet but was met by Rachel who gave me a warm first impression. She offered me a hot chocolate and gluten free cookies once I had been shown to my room and offered to wash and dry my clothes which was a welcomed offer. I ate my dinner with them- all home cooked and delicious as well as having plenty on offer and a well stocked bar full of a great selection. Breakfast was similarly of a good standard and I was off the next morning having had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Pleasant experience from start to finish and couldn't recommend their hospitality enough.

Room tip: Front rooms have a sea view

You can be certain of a warm and friendly welcome at this jewel of a guest house, Nick and Rachel are the nicest of people you could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble.
The guest house is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are lovely, and you can also book an evening meal which we did, there is also a bar and the drinks are cheaper than in the town.
highly recommended ++++++++++++

What a special place, we have never been so well looked after. We should have been camping but due to the weather our tent was flooded and Rachael and Nick went above and beyond to help us. They are such a kind couple. They even helped us celebrate our sons 18th by surprising him with a cake.

Lovely B&B, we were greeted straight away by the lady who is one of the owners and she was absolutely lovely.

We are doing the southwest coast trail and had been walking and camping for the previous 3 nights, we decided to treat ourselves to a B&B. We walked in wet form the rain with big bags and the lady's was so friendly and helpful. Straight away offering to dry out things, and bring us tea and cake in the lounge. We accepted and it was one of the best cakes ever, home made. Whilst sat in the lounge which is cosy! Nick the other owner popped in and welcomed us saying how welcome we were! Very nice!

Room was lovely, spotless and had all facilities needed. Home made cookies were awesome!

Breakfast was spot on! Loved the jams and fruits. Loads of juice, tea coffee and cereal. Then also a full hot breakfast. Continental was even available, or smaller bacon butties n stuff.

The whole time the owners were brilliant and went over and beyond.

Really great stay, bang in the centre of town, 2 mins walk from the beach and coffee places, food places etc.

Would highly recommend and stay again if in the area again.

Thanks guys xx
