Yesterday I returned to Lavender house, formally known as the Grass Hopper after 30 years. This time I booked the family room for myself and two sons and a single room for a very good friend. I now live in New Zealand (www.sealimousines.com) and returned to visit family and friends.
Two more friends joined us for a very enjoyable evening in the comfy setting and we all really enjoyed a very tasty meal, with ample portions and a proper sundau, heaped with real fruit and quality ice cream.
The rooms are large and we had a stunning Dartmoor view with the gardens below. There was quality bedding which felt so crisp and fresh, much appreciated after a tiring trip. The owners love their animals and I enjoyed a cuddle with their friendly cat.
All I ask for in accommodation is cleanliness, comfort and friendly staff, I got it all, thank you so much for a wonderful stay and I wish you every success in the future.
