We ate in the upstairs restaurant, spacious and comfortable. My starter of salt and pepper prawns, lightly battered, was exceptional, juicy, tender and sweet . The day's fish specials are described by the waiting staff by writing prices on the paper tablecloth pre-printed with a list of possibilities. I had brill grilled with butter, it was fresh and excellent. The chips and mushy peas are also very good.
Rockfish fully met my high expectations for a very upmarket fish and chip shop in a fishing port. Please open one in Aberdeen.
