“Simply stunning ”
Reviewed 20 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed as a family of 8 ( including grandparents) and thought the place was amazing. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, it's even better in real life! Entry is at the back into a small hall with the bunk bed room next to the door. Along the corridor is bathroom with bath and shower. The large twin room with double Windows taking advantage of the view is next. Lots of storage, clean and tastefully decorated. Downstairs is the lounge/ diner with stunning views and the balcony. Although Feb we stood on the balcony often taking in the view! Would be amazing in summer to enjoy breakfast out there!
Kitchen was on this level and had everything necessary, all working well and perfect for a holiday let. The back yard off the kitchen has an outside tap, useful for washing muddy walking boots!
The top floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, the smaller room being a twin bedroom and then the stunning master suite. Views were incredible from this height and the large window brought in lots of light. Again loads of storage and a tv. The only improvement I would suggest upgrading to a larger bed as the room was so big it would certainly fit and make it that little more luxurious.
The property benefits from good wifi which is great for us with 3 teenagers!
I would recommend this property as a stunning holiday home and we certainly hope to visit again someday!

This property is stunning. Fab location a stones throw from harbour wall. Five minutes walk into town and to restaurants. You enter into hall with two bedrooms. Go downstairs to living room, kitchen, patios. Second floor has two further bedrooms. Master double has stunning views over harbour with Juliette balcony and double doors. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Had everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Great private parking space and garage right outside front door. Gated secure car park. Patio is great for watching harbour life drift by. Stunning.

“Great position but not a 4* property”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

You can could not complain about the location which was excellent and close to the habour but the property itself is not a 4* star property. Whilst clean the property it is in need to some serious TLC and selling it as having two patios is just a false statement when one is basically a scruffy backyard. The patio overlooking the habour is unloved, contained a broken bench, 4 chairs not great for a property that can sleep 8. The house itself has no tech - no internet access, no iPod dock, no radio and no phone for outgoing emergency calls. Which could be a concern if renting with older guests. The decor is tired, table leg was buckling, shower dripped when turned off. I've rented many houses in the past and this is the first one that has genuinely disappointed me.

“Top class property in a fantastic location.”
Reviewed 31 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Just spent a week at 41 Moorings Reach with family and grandparents. The property is in a nice private development yet overlooks the harbour side. It was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard with plenty of space and everything a family could need. A three minute stroll to the inner harbour of Brixham (or five minutes if avoiding steps or hills) it really is a great location. The views are breathtaking and being within five metres of the waters edge you really feel close to the sea and the yachts floating just outside. With the extra benefit of a garage and additional parking space this must be about the best property in Brixham.
