Got the bus from St Brelades and was there within 30 minutes. What a place it is, go through the doors donwn the slope and there is a viewing area to look out of. I was very lucky to see a Marsh Harrior fly over looking for food. Several types of bird can be seen and there are bird books and binoculars to use.

Outstanding if you love wildlife. A trip to the main centre and bird hide is well worth it to see some of the interesting waterbird found on St Ouen's Pond. Make sure you take your binoculars (even though some are provided). Intend to spend at least an hour in order to see something special - The Marsh harriers are just wonderful. Maybe not the best idea to take a family of noisy children though!

We're big bird watchers and when ever we're in Jersey we go to the Wetland centre in St Ouens.
We were delighted to see a Marsh Harrier hunting for prey. Crows got together and mobbed him, not that it did any good. ☺
It's always a good place to spend a few hours. Who knows what you'll see.
We've seen a Green shank, Snipe Lapwings, and Ketrels before.
Free use of binoculors.
No toilets.
Free car park across the road.

I’ve noticed the sign for Jersey Wetlands but never visited.
It’s well worth stopping and having a look, we saw lots of wildlife and were only there an hour.
