A lovey way to spend half a day. Good value for money: included: walk round the vines and orchard, talk about the estate and looking round facilities. Film with wine tasting (3 different wines) and apple brandy. On exit to the shop we also got to taste the fudge. Very good quality. The bistro also provided an excellent venue for lunch.

Thank Anne M

This estate is worth visiting. You get an informed tour indoors & out, with wine tasting. You are also welcomed with a cider to sample. Loads of produce available to purchase along with a nice cafe.

Visited as part of a coach tour. Guide was very informative and tasting the range of Wine, chocolates and liquer was very pleasant. A nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Lovely afternoon visit with the best cream tea we've ever had! Great tour, not too long with delicious wine too.

Looks as if previous reviews complaining about having to pay for access to cafe and shop have paid off as it appears there is no charge unless you do the tour.
So for about £10 you get a 50 minute session including a taste of 3 - but not the top of range - wines, a taste of the cream liqueur in a chocolate case, a square of milk chocolate and a sliver of fudge. Also, of course a description, but at this season no demonstration of how the wine is made.
Grounds are well kept. Cafe/bistro on the costly side.
Work it out for yourself!
