Once the tide goes out you can walk the causeway to the lighthouse.

Be careful if the tide is turning but a siren does sound warning the causeway is about to be covered.

Lovely morning out....

A lighthouse but being Scottish I have seen many taller, more majestic and on even rockier coats. Nothing wrong with the view but there is nothing else to do or see.

Spectacularly rugged coastline at this western extremity of Jersey. You can walk to the foot of the lighthouse, but only at low tide so plan your visit time carefully. On a sunny day the gleaming white lighthouse, the rugged rocks and a rough sea make for great photographic opportunities.

Something to view whatever the weather. Glorious spot on a sunny day but just as attractive when the wind is up and the sea is crashing in.

Our visit this year was somewhat marred by the scaffolding around the tower but obviously this needs to be done so we still enjoyed a visit to watch the sunset.
