Something to view whatever the weather. Glorious spot on a sunny day but just as attractive when the wind is up and the sea is crashing in.

Our visit this year was somewhat marred by the scaffolding around the tower but obviously this needs to be done so we still enjoyed a visit to watch the sunset.

We enjoyed a walk across to the lighthouse during low tide during our recent visit to Jersey. The lighthouse wasn't accessible due to renovations being undertaken while we were there. The area In general at this location is very picturesque and rural, and a nearby fish restaurant with fantastic coadtal views (Corbieres Faire) was recommended to us but we ran out of time to try it Out!

Nice walk down and back up as long as the tide isn't high. Very famous for being photographed at all times of the day and night.

The area around the lighthouse is fascinating as the natural landscape was great and the added fortifications made by the Germans were still evident, was disappointed as the lighthouse was undergoing maintenance on the outside and all you could see was scaffolding but still great place to visit.
