“One of the nicest self-catering places I've stayed in!”

We stayed in Mount Brandon for two weeks in June. The weather was glorious, which was a plus, but weather or not, this is one of the most relaxing and lovely places I've ever stayed! Andrea and Carmen are warm, welcoming and helpful, the houses are comfortable and homely, and the gardens and surroundings are gorgeous. Plenty to do in the area.. we walked, cycled and kayaked almost literally on the doorstep :-) Lovely walks for humans and dogs along the river... I only hope the powers-that-be see sense and install the proposed cycleway along the canal paths, so that more people can utilise the attractions in this lovely part of the country. Hot tip: Graigue Kebabish do fab take -away indian food, cooked fresh right in front of you... nyom!
Will definitely be back to visit Mount Brandon Cottages, we're still missing it, including the dogs!

“Fantastic Accommodation”

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Mount Brandon. The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed a fire every evening. We found the location great as we had family close by and at the same time discovered and explored Graiguenamanagh. The scenery was beautiful. We will be back. Great hospitality! Great restaurants and good Irish food and friendly people.

“Wonderful experience”

In October, my family and I rented two cottages from Andrea. Both cottages were very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. It is a perfect location from which to tour the south east of Ireland with easy access to Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Waterford. The local town of Graiguenamanagh is within walking distance, and it has many lovely walking trails along the Barrow. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a self catering holiday.

We had a nice week in a very tidy and comfortable cottage. Chatting with Andrea was entertaining, her tipps for trips were very helpful. There seems to be no question or problem she would not help you with immidiately. We were sorry we had to leave.

Great base for exploring the area. Very hospitable owners who give you a warm welcome.
The house has all the mod-cons with a lovely personal touch added to it. The garden is beautiful with a great communal covered BBQ area.
The table tennis table was a big hit!
