Apart from the tremendous location in front of the 12 Bens, this place is well situated between Maumturks, the Bens, Leenane, Mweelrea, and at the Western way. Offering, spacious, comfortable rooms. Share your stories of the day in the hotel bar. Enjoy the recommendable food during dinner, and take in your energy for the day's hike with a faboulos breakfast. Helpful and friendly, and also thoughtful service. I'd consider returning to Connemara for this welcoming place alone.

Room Tip: doesn't matter, but view on 12 Bens recommended

Our friends booked Lough Inagh Lodge for us - two couples for two nights. Our focus was on hillwalking so we hadn’t thought much about accommodation. But what a surprise: beautiful location; magnificent large bedroom with mountain and lake views; superb dining experience... and all without breaking the bank. I can’t say enough about the great job that Dominic and Máire do and how welcoming and helpful they are. Looking forward to a return visit. Hard to think of how they could improve anything- other than possibly not to allow dogs indoors, but that’s another story.

Such a lovely hotel. Very accommodating especially when booked last minute and arriving late. Offered to have soup since it was going to be 9:30pm before we would arrive.
Great service on arrival and very welcoming. It was a last minute work trip - long day travelling; so was grateful for the very comfortable bed, excellent sized rooms and en suites. Ensure had separate bath and shower.

Will have to come back to really enjoy the hotel stay as was up at 8am for breakfast and back on the road again for work.

Breakfast kept us fuelled all day.

Will definitely be back

The place is amazing from the bed of the suite you see the lake. Reception is very good and also the restaurant is worthwhile but the prices are high.
The room is comfortable and the batroom is with shower and tube.

We visited this hotel a couple of time a year for the past 24 years. The proprietor, Maire O'Connor, as with Dominic have always welcomed us with gentile hospitality. If not stopping in for a drink, a tea and cream scones, or dinner - this was special, our anniversary, the ambience of this hotel nestled behind the 12 Bens and the Maamturks, is of the most scenic places we have travelled. Our dinner proved memorable, the service and TLC as ever, attentive and caring. Thanks.
