I had a hankering for Indian food a few nights ago while watching a movie that mentioned it, so I did an internet search in my area and was surprised to find that there were several new Indian restaurants. It was after 6:00 p.m. and I was looking for a "buffet", but I learned that virtually none of the Indian restaurants in our area that offer lunch buffets offer dinner buffets. After dinner, I was told, it's simply a la carte. The Bawarchi location is nondescript: it's a tiny location on the corner of a strip mall and resembles more of a fastfood restaurant. However, after getting our food, it was as delicious and authentic as any Indian food these American tastebuds have experienced. The Paneer Vegetarian Biryani was spicy hot (and delicious) & the Samosas with their dipping sauces were like comfort food. We also had the Goat Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala. Oh, and the Butter Naan was light, hot, deliciously textured. Like I said, this place is nondescript, but it offers delicious Indian food.
