We have stayed at Paris Landing state park inn several time over the last few years. It is beginning to show the neglect that has become common with Tennessee State Parks. The people there are very nice, everything is as clean as it can be. The views are beautiful and if you like boating there is a marina. Sadly it could just use some refreshing.

Room Tip: Get a room on the 4th or 5th floor for better views

Picturesque view of Kentucky Lake at this Paris Landing State Park Inn. The Inn may be circa 1970 but the rooms are adequate and there is a pool, a golf course, a restaurant and bar; all the necessities including free wifi, although not too powerful.

Perfect for families and one of the only restaurants for miles.

There is no need to leave when you stay here. There is a great buffet that offers something special each night. The breakfast bar is amazing. There is a very nice and surprisingly large pool with a beautiful view of the lake. It doesn't matter that I grew up here, I this place doesn't get old.

Room Tip: Lake view is the only way to go

Very nice rooms considering it's a state park. Room was clean and furnishings were ok. Pros--great view from the balcony over looking the lake. Comfortable bed. Dining room had Ok buffet. The menu was limited if you didn't want the buffet. Good value for the room and dining room. Pool was large and clean, Cons---very small bathroom and vanity area. Carpet was old and had some stains. Everything very basic. No frills.
It was above average compared to other state parks in kentucky we have stayed at.

Room Tip: upper floors have better view and less noise from the pool.

It is a good thing my reason for being at this hotel was for a reunion. The hotel is in serious need of some updates. The carpet in the room was absolutely disgusting - my shoes stuck to it! The shower needed a spritz of bleach. The bed had a good dip in it, but it was the yellowed plastic mattress cover under the cheapest mattress pad that made the bed almost impossible to sleep in. I did have a beautiful view - but there were so many spider webs and mildew on the chairs that I couldn't stay out on the balcony to enjoy it. The staff was absolutely fabulous.
They are probably what is keeping the hotel alive.
