“Excellent in every way”
Reviewed 4 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This was a brilliant find. It is a converted coach house which has been expertly converted o provide accommodation of a very high standard. The place is well equipped to high specification, and has the attraction of a wood burning stove. The place is immaculate, and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners who live in the nearby farmhouse. We really appreciated the unobtrusive hospitality and the invitation to roam the extensive farmlands. It certainly sets the bar high for other self catering accommodation.

“Lovely welcoming comfortable retreat.”
Reviewed 27 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We used Old Leckie Farmstay as a base to attend a local wedding and then for the rest of the week for a family holiday. The welcome was sincere and genuine and the accommodation was very comfortable with everything provided to facilitate a wonderful break. We especially enjoyed exploring the beautiful farm both with Alison on her informative Quad-bike trailer tour and by foot. The bedrooms are very comfortable, choice of rolled top bath or huge dinner plate size shower in the bathroom. The view from the arch window whilst eating breakfasts was always interesting and will be missed. All in all we all said we would heartily recommend staying here.

“A cosy clean comfortable farm in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 2 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The hosts were very hospitable and friendly. They were always ready to help us with advice and catered for all of our needs. Old Leckie farm was comfortable and clean and it had all the necessities and much more. We felt at home from the very first day. The location is great to visit Scotland, especially the Trossachs region which is very close to drive to. It is a must to have a car when one stays at this farm. I visited Scotland with my husband and my three teenage children. We are totally satisfied with our farmstay and recommend it to anyone who loves to stay in beautiful surroundings.

“Outstanding place to stay in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here for a week in May and had a wonderful holiday. The standard of accommodation was excellent, providing all the amenities you require for a home away from home. There was ample space for 4 adults and 2 children to spend time together whilst not living in each others pockets.
The owners Alison and Fergus along with their 3 lovely children extended us a very warm welcome and remained kind and helpful throughout our stay including giving us a trailer tour of the farm and the opportunity to help bottle feed the lambs which was an experience thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We were able to explore the wonderful hidden gems on the farm such as the waterfalls and the ruins of a mill as well as give the boys their first experience of building a bonfire.
The location of the farmstay is ideal for visiting the surrounding area. We explored Stirling Castle, climbed the Wallace Monument and Alloa Tower. Further afield we took a steamboat tour of Loch Katrine, and enjoyed the 3 Lochs forest drive within the Trossachs National Park. On a slightly wet day we took the boys to the Glasgow Science Centre which was a perfect day out for young minds.
We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay”
Reviewed 9 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Old Leckie was a fantstic place to spend a short break, we were up for a friends wedding and it provided a cosy home from home.
Fergus provided a friendly relaxed welcome, along with the pet lambs.
The accomadation was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and full of charrm.
Everything that we needed including a roaring woodburner and bottle of wine.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again.
Thank you.
