We seek out Hampton Hotels for their consistent service, cleanliness and convenience. The Hampton at Santee, SC was no exception. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and accommodating. They offered us a view of the room before we checked in. The room was clean with all necessary amenities.

After much research, my husband I and I stayed at this warm, clean and convienient Hampton Inn. Our King Bed room was HUGE. It included a separate "kitchenette" with microwave, fridge and sink, plus a spacious bathroom. Internet access was included for no charge. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, so much so we almost overslept! The staff was personable and friendly. We had to get on the road so we did not stay for breakfast, but we did the bar was pleantiful with selections for various palates. The coffee I picked up on the run was very good. Many other properties surroundedthis one that were less expensive, but we certainly recived what we paid for and more by staying at this Hampton Inn.

Room Tip: Ourroom faced the pool. It may not require this in the winter monts,

Of all nights, my fellow traveler and I spent Christmas Eve at the Hampton Inn in Santee. We were road weary, and usually go for more budget-priced places. But since we were midway through a long road trip, we decided to go for comfort, and Hampton Inn delivered. Breakfast the next morning was great, with plenty of options. You can count on Hampton Inn for clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, good breakfasts and responsive staff -- and the one in Santee was no exception. They delivered all that Hampton Inn is good at!

Decent hotel. We THANKFULLY made reservations driving up from Florida just in case there would be a lot of travelers and we made the right choice. We didn't leave until late so we arrived after midnight. When my husband walked in, the clerk said "I hope you have a reservation" (she said this nicely) because every hotel at that exit was fully booked- not just the Hampton Inn.

Basically we went straight in, kids in our arms and went to sleep. So can't speak to much- although the free breakfast was pretty good with lots of choices- many more options than cereal and bagels alone! They have eggs, sausage gravy, waffles, etc... So overall happy as a stopover and would choose this hotel again if needed.

Warmly greeted with southern hospitality upon arriving by Toni. Standard Hampton Inn with breakfast included. Rooms and hotel itself clean, comfortable beds. Indoor and outdoor pool available. Easy on/off highway. We chose Clarks Inn for dinner based on reccomendation. The food is very expensive for what you get. Our meal consisted of 3 appetizers (salad, lobster bisque, fried green tomatoes), 2 mains ( fried chicken), a childs meal, 2 glasses of wine and desert 118$. Ambience of restaurant is nice and service is very good.
