Perrone's is the best.

Beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, unparalleled hospitality, impeccable service, inventive plates prepared from the best fresh ingredients. You want more? Check out the vast (and I mean, v a s t) offering of adult beverages. I've never seen anything even remotely close to this selection in another restaurant.

The lunch and dinner menus reflect a little whimsy and playfulness, and a lot of serious respect for food. Who doesn't want to eat food prepared by people who want to bring out the absolute best of the ingredients?

So, it really is all about the food, and the beverages. And the service. And the hospitality. And the atmosphere most conducive to enjoying all of the aforementioned. It's culinary alchemy.

Earlier this spring, I stopped by Perrone's for a relaxing lunch. I started with some of their wonderful homemade bread and butter, then this was my first time to enjoy the lobster mac & cheese, which was rich and satisfying without being heavy. It was accompanied by a great side salad, crisp cucumber slices, and beautiful, bright heirloom tomato sections. For dessert, I had a sort of riff on an ice cream sandwich, a chocolate cookie topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream and whipped cream. It tasted exactly how winter-into-spring feels, and it was a perfect dessert. Wonderful service from Ryan.

With Perrone's, I am always looking forward to the next time.

Perrone's is getting better as time goes by. It's just great to see this place continue to turn out stellar scallops that are a mainstay of the menu. Meanwhile, Steve Perrone has added my all time favorite dish, Pork Osso Bucco! It was so good it was actually better than the photo.

Not a better restaurant between Charleston and Wilmington.

Went there with 3 couples for first time , the beer and alcohol selection was amazing , the server had no personality so took away from the experience, servings were a little small for the price , good but not great

7 of us attended the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and we found the restaurant well laid out and very clean.

The range of alcohol was huge. Basically anything you could want they had. A great range of wines and liquors.

The food was phenomenal!

As a group for starters we had the scallops and some of the salads.
The scallops were cooked to perfection and the salads were wonderfully fresh and flavoursome.

The entrees were out of this world.
We had the bone in Kansas strip-loin steak, elk chops, duck and seafood risotto.

All the meat was cooked sous vide and were beautifully tender. The sauces and the accompaniments were so well suited.

The risotto was full of seafood and full of flavour.

The deserts are mostly Italian style and not a huge selection, but very tasty all the same.

It is a little on the expensive side, but well worth the money.

We would go again.

Pre Easter dinner.
Friendly, efficient service.
Large carte de vin and many other beverage choices.
A great selection of fish, of steaks and vegetarians can rejoice, too.
Sorry, Frank's. Perhaps we visit you next year.
