Really good Seafood and Large Portions. We usually order the small plates because after the Amazing you can eat hushpuppies and grits we about full. There is also a little pet zoo area where you can throw food to animals that little children can enjoy. Only reason for 4 Stars sometimes waitresses can be a little slow.

No fancy recipes here. Broiled, fried, steamed it's perfect. On this last visit I tried jalapenos stuffed with crab, broiled scallops, fried oysters and fried catfish. All could not have been better prepared. Seafood cools quickly but at our table of nine the plates arrived at the table at the same time and the food was hot. The hush-puppy's melt in your mouth and the grits are the creamiest. They are serve yourself, all you can eat. To avoid a wait, go on Thursday evening.

A very interesting, fun place to visit - especially with kids. Lots of ducks and peacocks swimming in the moat in front of the restaurant. The grits and hush puppy's are available for the taking - all that you want. The cat fish is fried - not the tastiest but I would recommend baked cat fish or the scallops. I'm told that the oysters are great. Good service, friendly people.

We have been eating at Old Macdonalds for 15+ years. Food is good, but they have gotten expensive. Last night's dinner was over $50 for two people. I had the low country boil, my wife had catfish filets, with a fried pickle appetizer, she had water to drink and I had tea. That $52 bill included a 17% group gratuity. It's good, but just not worth the trip from Columbia.
