“great place to stay”

The room was very nice and clean. They staff was extremely helpful and very kind felt very comfortable and felt like we were at a home atmosphere. The management (especially Aaron) was very helpful and answered every question we asked and more...we would definately go back again and again...
This was our second stay,,,things were in walking distance and parking was great...we were quite impressed by the heated pool and hottub (which was indoors) since we were there for the whole month of february, they also have an outdoor pool which will be nice for a summer visit.
We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony.....a 5 star rating from us

Room Tip: 9th floor was great which is where we stayed both times

We checked in March 1 and stayed for the month of March. We have previously stayed here in March for several years. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our 1 bedroom suite was clean with new furniture and stove. We really like the central location of the property, the ocean front balcony and nice pools, also the proximity of the parking lots to the elevators and rooms. You don't have to walk a huge distance to reach any amenity. We have already booked for next March. If you're looking for The Ritz, this isn't it. But we've always found The Reef to be clean, friendly, helpful and affordable. We are already looking forward to next year.

Me and my family really enjoyed are selves the staff was very very friendy and a special shout out goes to Browning and Andy they were the best customer service I have ever come across .Our room was clean and for the price it was well worth it I recommend this hotel to everyone

We checked in at The Reef at about 8pm on April 9th and the check in process was nice and easy (we booked through Expedia). We went to check out our room only to find it was the wrong room and the prior guest broke the hotel policy and smoked in the room so it was very smelly so we went to the front desk to have our room changed to what we booked for and the lady and man on shift that night were very helpful they let us go check the room we originally booked before they moved us and put us in the right room in no time but the hotel is very outdated and the 2 bedrooms suite we booked just wasn't big enough for 6 people and we did smell mold amongst other unpleasant smells so we asked the front desk could we have our money refunded and they kindly explained that they couldn't do it but that there manager would be in first thing the next morning but the refund would be given to Expedia. We stayed one night which was fine the spring breakers did not bother us because we also had children with us but the beds weren't comfy but okay to take for one night but did not like having to share one bathroom with so many people. I don't blame the staff for the condition of the hotel the cannot control the wear and tear of the property plus they did everything to accomadate my family and I and for them I give two thumbs up!!!! I am not sure if I would stay again because the rooms are a turn off but the staff is definitely superb and also we had no problem with the manager the next morning refunding our money back to Expedia!

The hotel Bathroom was disgusting with moldy walls in the shower and an unfleshed toilet. The balcony door didn't lock. There was a hole in the room wall, which also seemed wet & moldy. The staff was rude & unprofessional.

Please except our sincere apology. I reviewed the Manager On Duty's incident report to better understand what occurred. Regrettably, an error was made during your check-in. A front desk associate checked you into a room that was on block for maintenance repair, and you should never have been placed in that out of order room. This is a rare occurrence, and we have used this incident as further training. We are sorry that this happened.
