Description: The perfect place to meet friends, business associates, family or an elegant date. Collectors Cafe & Gallery combines world-class Mediterranean cuisine with a European coffee house that has beautiful works of art for sale in each room. The ambiance is exquisite, but the food is the main attraction. Prepared by Chef Jim Molnar and Jon Reimer, entrees include Scallop Cakes, Rack of Lamb, Filet of Beef, as well as fresh fish. The fully functional gallery represents over 25 revolving artists. Paintings are sold each night with spring and fall openings to highlight new artists. The art gallery, dining rooms, and coffee house lounge combine to create a one of a kind elegant dining experience. Lunch is served week days with a relaxed atmosphere . Desserts are made fresh daily to complete this journey of the senses.

Absolutely love this place. The food is to die for. I love the scallop cakes. Warning the entrée portions are huge but that just means leftovers for savoring later. The fresh bread/hummus/pesto dip are yummy. The staff are very attentive. Lots of atmosphere. You can sit in the main dining room but I prefer one of the back rooms which are quieter and more intimate. The bar area is nice for a pre or after dinner drink. If you have room, the deserts are amazing. They are made in house. In addition, you get to see beautiful art work and roaming from room to room is encouraged so you can see it all.

Lovely restaurant, interesting art, chic but relaxed. Be careful if you don't like a lot of spice, the Sonora preparation has a LOT of kick! Noisy in the dining area between kitchen noise and poor acoustics. A little pricey but interesting and good food.

Six of us there for dinner in May. Our waitress seemed unsure, very sweet, and messed up splitting up the check. The salad dressing was way too heavy and thick. The bread with the dippers seemed like common grocery store bread. Our entrée was the special of the evening: Grilled Mahi Mahi on a bed of black beans and rice with chipotle sour cream. The fish was grilled to perfection ! However the spices in the black beans and rice were so HOT that we could not enjoy the rest of the dish. Are they relying on their old reputation? We may go back for dessert, but not dinner.

I bought my family to the this restaurant to enjoy a great experience. We were seated in the Lion's Den. The service was pretty slow. The most disappointing thing was I got the featured special appetizer. It was soooo spicy. I told our waiter and he said he would tell the chef. He offered no exchange to bring me something else. There was no discount on my bill either. The over all experience and other food was great! It was just a bumper that my food had to be so hot with no word from the management!!
