arrived at first location after a 10 hour drive and it was a dump called "a place by the beach" it was old musty no elevator smelled like mold and mildew rust on refrigerator mildew all over bathroom built in 1932 and decorated that way. called the company and nobody could help that night so we stayed at the embassy suites on the beach. $220 for one night and not much nicer. so we were moved next day to a 2 bedroom with a ocean view for a fee suppposedly with a 25% discount. This place was nice but the door to get into condo stuck and was metal and the beds had no blankets. the view was great but the condo itself needed painting not very welcoming. the location was the north end of south myrtle and was told it was in north myrtle so felt I was led astray from the start. no towels and take a chair, uumbrella to beach its like 30 a day for lifeguard and closes at 4. beach was very crowded.
Could have used more bath towels, but was advised by staff that we need only have asked for them and we would have had them. It would have been nice to have had small things like salt and pepper, wine glasses, a dish towel. I was not impressed with the TV cable being laid along the floor. One of the TV's did not work. Couch cushions were filthy. Closet and shower curtain racks are filthy. Should have four chairs on balcony.
