Early morning walk along the marsh of Murrells Inlet - serene beauty! We arrived around 9 am in the still cool quiet morning. We parked at the dead end parking lot where there are clean modern restrooms, and the beginning of one of the many trails. This one took us through the woods along the shore of the inlet. We spotted many variety of marsh birds and a few woodland birds. The trail was a mile and a half long - flat but foot filled paths.

We went there on 3/27/18 and it was very cold & a bit windy. We walked and checked out all the restaurants/bars. I bet on a warm day the place is hoppin, would love to be there looks like it could be a lot of fun. I've been to Drunken Jacks, good food tad pricey but if you're there you should go just to try it. You can go on a charter fishing trip or get a group of people and do the pedal boat BYOB hour tour around the marsh. Not opened when we were there but I am sure April/May things will be going on. All the restaurants/bars were opened then we were there.

We can NOT go to the beach without going on the Marshwalk!! We love everything about it--I even go on line and watch the cam they have set up just to enjoy the view. We seem to always meet new people and talk with them. I would love if they would extend it out further!! Will be back down next month and I promise we will visit the walk several time!!
