“Escape from the tackiness of Myrtle Beach”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

Just about a 14 mile drive south of Myrtle Beach, one can escape to the "seafood capital of South Carolina" in Murrell's Inlet. The Marsh Walk takes you along a stretch of quiet waterfront. I was there on a Tuesday during off-season, so it wasn't crowded at all. One can see storks, gulls, ducks, egrets, terns in abundance, while enjoying the sun and scenery. It was the highlight of my three- night visit to SC.

“Great Birding”
Reviewed 31 January 2012

Ever time i go to Murrells Inlet I make sure I get to Creekratz to eat and walk the marsh walk. If you like photography and birding you can get the best photos of Egrets, Blue Heron and Pelicans here. There was about 30+ Pelicans this year when i visited and alwasy enjoy just watching them. You can get with in 20 feet so easy to get great pictures.

“The most beautiful walk on the coast”
Reviewed 31 January 2012

You must take a stroll on this waterfront walk. The view of the inlet and the boats in breathtaking. The half dozen or so restaurants all had music and you could walk in and out of them all.

“Nice after dinner walk.”
Reviewed 29 January 2012

The Marsh Walk is a great way to walk off dinner when dining in Murrell's Inlet. On weekends )in season) the restaurants lining the walk usually have live music to keep you entertained. The kids love watching the boats and goats.
