We've been zip-lining before - from one in Saluda, SC, to one in Costa Rica and one out in Wyoming. By far, this was the best.
We went with a group of all ages, a dozen of us including an 80+ year old who needed assistance to get to the beginning of the course.
To start with, after suiting you up, they bring you to a learning area, to try this whole thing out, learn the basics -- and for some, a chance to change your mind!
That learning area was fantastic, eliminated the uncertainty and made the rest of the course fun.
There were about a dozen zips (don't quote me on the numbers) of varying lengths and speeds, even a pair of zips next to each other for racing. You zipped through forests and over lakes. There were a few 'scary' bridges -- I'm not fond of scary bridges, but I did 'em. Good feeling of accomplishment.
The whole thing was incredibly professionally done; our guides (Cory, Nate, Heather) were all helpful when help was needed, fun and exciting when appropriate, and always safety first. The care they took -- and the support they extended -- with our older friend was amazing.
For a day full of laughing, excitement and camaraderie, run by a team of professionals, this is The Place to go. Thanks Jack and Becky and your staff for a fabulous day.
