Enjoyed one of the best steaks in a long time at Rick Erwin's restaurant. It was beautifully cooked, tasty and perfectly red all through. It's a little expensive though, and sides are all extra, but equally tasty. Enjoyed a good Malbec to accompany the meal. Rick himself came round to greet all the customers which added a nice touch.

My wife and I invited our friends to Rick Erwins Eastside Friday evening for a dinner before they departed to Thailand. The service was perfect and all dishes were delicious and presented very attractively. We were seated exactly on time and our server was very attentive. Very pleasant evening and a good way to say good by to our friends.

My wife and I dined her on Friday before Valentine's Day. We were somewhat concerned as my wife had heard that tables were very close together (which she hates) and that the dining experience was impacted negatively as a result. This was not our experience. My wife called ahead and requested more private seating. We were accommodated and our dining experience was EXCELLENT. Our server, Christina, was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. We will request her on future visits. Our appetizers, wedge salad and she crab soup were good. The crab cakes were PHENOMENAL. We have had crab cakes in Maryland and other places where they are "famous" but none compare to these. There was minimal but flavorful filling and mountains of delicious crab in very bite. My wife's lobster tail was great and my 11 oz. filet was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The peanut butter torte dessert was FANTASTIC!!! My wife raved to the server and general manager about how much better our dining experience and food were compared to Hall's. I have to agree with this assessment. We simultaneously decided that we have found "our spot"... Proximity to our home is the cherry on top of this gem. We will return to Rick Erwin's Eastside regularly going forward.

The only thing holding back this review from a perfect score was the service was a bit discombobulated at times and my wife's steak was undercooked. The the wedge salad was good however, it was not in the form of a wedge it was half a head of lettuce. The mac and cheese was very good. The asparagus was also very good. The truffle fries were just ok. Short, thin fries, nothing spectacular. The 11 ounce filet was outstanding! Very nice atmosphere. Good location. We live in Greer so this restaurant was only about 4 miles away. We will definitely be back.

We visited this for my daughter's birthday dinner. We had seafood and steaks - all food wa prepared very well. The seafood was excellent so were the steaks and the asparagus was delicious and so was the creme brulee. They offer two dinners where you can pick an entree, a side and a desert for $30 - $40 this is the best value as ordering ala cart can cost over $60 pp food alone. An extensive wine list with pricing for Chardonnays starting at $48. We ordered a bottle of Wild Horse from the Pasa Robles area of CA for $52/bottle. It was a nice smooth dry chardonnay. Figure $100 a person with drinks - well worth it.
