Nice zoo

Good variety of animals. Nice trail going from one exhibit to the next. Lots of play areas for kids.

Re-visited with grand-daughter. Just fun and she wore out. Now sleep.

Were-visited the zoo, having had a great time before with the grand-kids. This zoo is not huge but... read more

Small zoo but still interesting for a couple of hours. I really felt like you get very close to the animals, especially the giraffes, which was nice. Older facilities but well maintained and clean. Free parking. There is also a nice city park right outside the entrance. Good adventure to stretch your legs for a couple of hours.

The zookeepers are always friendly and share interesting facts about the animals, and it’s nice to see them interact with the monkeys and share their names and ages and etc. Always a clean and friendly environment . Animals are well cared for never seem to be anxious. Always sleeping or playful. Would recommend a few healthy alternatives at the snack station, but that’s really the only improvement I can think of.

This zoo is small. We saw everything in about 90 minutes, which was perfect for a chilly January day. I felt sorry for the animals with such small habitats. We especially wanted to see the red pandas. They were adorable but their habitat was so small for three of them! That said, things seemed clean and well-maintained. The local squirrels enjoyed visiting some of the animals, which was fun to watch. I think little kids would like this place given the size: good for short attention spans. I'm still worried about those small habitats, though.

We have been members for several years and visit the zoo every few months. Our son loves learning about the animals and the importance of conservation efforts as a result of his trips to the zoo. He is learning to care about our planet and the impact our behavior has on the environment. We appreciate the ambassador species living in the zoo.

This is a well-kept zoo with plenty to see. I went in the rain and still had a great time. All ages would enjoy this zoo.
