Conveniently located in a pedestrian and dog-friendly neighborhood just outside of Charleston, we found this lovely older home the perfect home base for all of our "adventures" in the Charleston area. The home itself was lovely and well-equipped, the only drawback in our case being that there was only one bathroom. The amenities however made up for it. The kitchen was small but very well-equipped, and Trish was kind enough to have it well-stocked with basics for our use. There was a washer and dryer (so nice to have no laundry to do when I got home), and plenty of towels and extra bed linens. The small front and back yards were lovely though a little muddy and overgrown as it rained almost the entire week we were there. Trish was kind enough to allow us to bring our pets which made the our time there even better and we didn't have the worry of leaving them behind while on vacation. There were many excellent places to eat nearby on James Island. The neighbors were very friendly. Overall, we found this charming home to be perfect for our needs. We would definitely love to stay here again when we return to the Charleston area.
