The room was a tad bit dated but not a major issue. Parking is safe, free, and right by the door. Calhoun St is a quick 5 minute drive. Getting back to the hotel from town is also easy - Exit 1 (Summerton) immediately over the James Island/Folly Beach bridge.
Breakfast was great, socials at night were well attended. They had a nice fire outside.
Bad: Our room (328) had someone else's balcony staring straight into our room. They were just three feet from our window and scared us to death. We had to keep it blackened the entire stay. They shouldn't call the hotel "riverview". Most rooms do not even see a speck of the river.
