This hotel was very clean , very nice.
They would bring breakfast to your room at the time you wanted it. However it was in the "high end" part of town. Be prepared to walk a lot in Charleston. We found it somewhat difficult to find things to do near the hotel. It's impossible to drive anywhere in Charleston. The traffic is horrible and there is NO parking. We ended up going to the outskirts of town everyday we were there. We went to the aircraft carrier and marina and under the big bridge. Everything was SUPER expensive. Charleston was my least favorite place we visited on our south trip.

We usually stay at a commercial chain hotel and this was a great alternative. It really is a combination of everything we read about: easy parking, great location, price point, nice rooms and the breakfast selection you choose the night before that is delivered to your room. Added together it made for an enjoyable stay, loved the high ceilings and the internet connection was excellent.

Stayed here for the Specialty and Agro Chemicals America show in Charleston SC. The show was just a block away. Hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly. Great having free cold water bottles served at the entrance. Great also having breakfast served in the room. I guess they don't have space for a full dining room. Wifi worked well for my needs. Parking lot behind the hotel is a plus, although I used taxi service to/from airport. Everything else was basically within walking distance, so no real need for a car. The marketplace (tourist area) was only a couple of blocks away. Many restaurant options in the neighborhood. I personally recommend Oyster House and Peninsula Grill. Will be back next year! Thanks for a great stay!

Two days in Charleston and we were lucky to book a king room for our stay. Upon arrival we were upgraded, so nice! Loved the room, the customer service was wonderful... Susu and Lisa were great representatives for this inn. Breakfast was continental. There is a menu to choose what you would like for breakfast (the night before) and then breakfast is delivered to your room. Loved that! The wine and cheese reception in the evening was lovely and the wine selection good. Such a great experience and we will stay at the Fulton Lane Inn on our next Charleston trip!

The Fulton Lane Inn is the perfect place to stay to experience the charm of Charleston. It was conveniently located on a narrow alley off of King Street, which further added to its charm, and was in walking distance to all the historic district has to offer. The Inn is very clean, with updated bathrooms, while still maintaining the old time charm. While I was not happy with the location of the first room we received, we were given a choice of several other options, and chose a lovely sunny bright room with high ceilings and 3 large windows overlooking a courtyard. It was perfect! The continental breakfast delivered to our room was very convenient, with several options to choose from, and we also had breakfast one morning at their sister hotel next door, Kings Courtyard Inn, which was another nice option, as well as the wine and cheese hour held there in the afternoon. The ice cold water bottles in the cooler by the front door in the lobby was convenient to grab either going or coming back from the hot Charleston weather. We also received a cold bottle of Prosecco delivered to our room for our Anniversary, another nice touch. Everyone that we encountered working at the Inn was very friendly and helpful. The convenience of the parking lot in back of the Inn, for a small charge, was icing on the cake. To sum it all up, would I recommend this Inn to anyone looking for an authentic Charleston experience? ABSOLUTELY!!!
