I loved the atmosphere of this place! You wait in line and a 'meat cutter' makes your sandwich for you. However, I now know that I'm not a huge fan of TexasStyle BBQ. The sides that we chose were buttermilk potato salad, which had too much of a mustard taste, and corn pudding- which was amazing! The sauce also had a very strong vinegar taste. We spent a total of $40 on everything in photo and one large drink.

Lewis's reminds me of being in Texas. Order at the counter by weight, pick your sides and eat like you are in Heaven. There is a limited menu - brisket, turkey, pulled pork and a wonderful hot sausage. It's all good but the next time that we go, I will only order the brisket. It is truly melt in your mouth wonderful.

Don't let the lines put you off, they move quickly.

Amazing selection of drinks, their beers are amazing, I recommend their boy king double ipa. Their food was the best bbq I've had yet. Strongly recommend their brisket and the pulled pork, it has no second in the area.

Food was amazing. Table service or a way to keep a tab open would have made it better! But all in all u really think that it is the best in town. Didn't even try the sauce.

Lunch at Lewis's Texas style BBQ located a ways uptown. Large venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Order at counter, wait while your order is assembled and then pay the cashier. Full bar is available and soft drinks are self serve. We tried the pulled pork, chopped brisket, sausage, and pork ribs. Beef ribs are only on Sat. and I was told they are usually sold out by 4pm. The brisket is available chopped or sliced. The pork bbq is average, sausage casing is too thick and somewhat spicy. The brisket was excellent. Ribs were ok but not baby backs. Meats are sold by the pound. Two sauces are available. Sandwiches do not come with any sides which are sold ala carte. Overall feeling that it is on the pricey side. A sampler plate would be a worthwhile addition. Worth a visit. Hope this helps.
