I was in Charleston for a conference at the nearby Charleston Place which was sold out so my company booked me here for 3 nights. It is a small quaint Inn with 2 buildings across the street from each other. It is walking distance to most of the sights and attractions of downtown Charleston. There is no restaurant on the premises but tons of great choices nearby. They did have a rooftop breakfast buffet in the morning. I only went once and it was OK- not too many choices frankly.
The front desk staff were very nice and helpful with recommendations. They have an arrangement with a gym a few blocks away but no exercise room on property.

My room was comfortable enough. It was clean although a bit worn. The water pressure isn't the best. There was quite a bit of street noise and there is sitting area on the 2nd floor in the center of the hotel but conversations being held there could be heard through the door of my room so it wasn't the quietest in the mornings.
Overall I had mixed feelings. I'd probably try a different hotel on my next trip.

The best parts of the stay were the location and the rooftop breakfast. We had reserved a standard room in the main building and when we arrived were told that room type was gone so we had been upgraded. While the room we were in was pretty and larger than a standard, we were in a different, older building, which was a bit of a letdown, since we had made a reservation for something else. We didn't see the other building til breakfast the following morning or else would have requested our original room.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. And the inn is walking distance to everything in town.

We had a great stay at the Andrew Pickney Inn. They have a lovely roof top deck to eat your breakfast. The place is very pretty and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location is right in the middle of Charleston, yet it was quiet. Our room was a bit small but we didn't spend much time in it.

The inn is right in the heart of historic Charleston, making it easy to walk everywhere. The lobby is cozy and welcoming with juice, coffee, and afternoon cookies. The staff was top-notch, helping us with directions, etc. Our room was across the street from the main building and, although small, very comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast is included and served on a rooftop terrace. Considering the location and the type of inn, the price was reasonable. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Staff was great, especially the gal that handled the Continental breakfast. We enjoyed talking with her. Common areas/hall smelled damp and musty, and the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, with a moldy wall behind it. We paid top dollar for the room, as it was a last minute decision.

Best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right in the middle of it all.
