My wife was a body builder for about 15 years, many years ago so she insisted we go. It was interesting but dated. But, it was deja vu for my wife.

This was some different to do and see. There are a few rooms you can walk through with all kinds of pictures and information about weight lifters. It is free to see.

Free entry. We took our father in law who's into weightlifting. He really enjoyed it. We had two teenage girls with us and they had fun too. Plus the factory is right there and you can get some great deals.

First, it is in the factory site. No sign by the road. When you go in, keep to the left. It is a large place. One side for retail sales, the other the museum. It is used for assemblies, assuming for weight lifting. The items are old and some really need upkeep. Maybe a rainy day 1/2 hour stop

My (adult) son is a fan of weightlifting and exercise, so we stopped here on our way elsewhere. It is free to visit for a self-guided tour. The information on the York Barbell founder, Bob Hoffman, was presented in an attractive way. There were historical documents, such as letters from the White House. It was informative. If you read all the captions and signage, it might take an hour to walk through.
