The weather put a damper on our three-night stay so we didn't use the fire pit or the hammock, unfortunately. You can hear the traffic from Rt. 118 during the night, but it's not too loud. Beds were comfortable and the location is very convenient to nearby activities and there are some decent places to eat close by, too. (We really loved the Bike Barn museum in Bloomsburg, about 40 minutes away.)
Screened in porch is very relaxing, as you look out into the woods behind the house.
Extremely well-stocked with almost every item or implement you might need but you forgot to bring it, for kitchen, bathroom and entertainment. This includes board games and DVD movies and a game console upstairs in the loft.
Furniture and rug in the main room were a bit worn and perhaps the dust from this contributed to some sinus allergies we experienced there.
Overall a relaxing experience for two parents and two teenaged children.
The cabin was clean, well stocked, and roomy. The weather was not cooperative so we were able to watch football games and go antiquing instead of fishing and sitting by the firepit.
The cabin was so close to Rickett'sGlen, where we were a majority of the weekend. The kids loved the upstairs loft and the video games. The living room had ample seating for all 6 of us. The patio is nice as well. The fire pit is very big, and it's nice that there are 4 Adirondack chairs around it. There's a cute hammock across the creek. I wish we had a longer stay!
Had a wonderful birthday celebration girls weekend with family. Cabin fit our needs perfectly. Comfortably slept 5 adults. Beautiful waterfall hike despite a chilly start. Had lots of fun visiting the antique shops close to the cabin and in Benton. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back soon with more family and friends.
The cabin was perfect. Close enough to stores, restaurants and Ricketts Glen. It was stocked with everything you could think of and more. It was peaceful, beautiful and very relaxing. My favorite spot was thr screened in porch. My kids loved the hammock. This was our second year visiting Ricketts Glen but our first stay at the cabin. We will definitely be coming back.
