While the hipsterish style of this hotel is not really for me, we enjoyed a pleasant stay there. We had a nice and bright room on the fifth floor, looking out.
The cons for me are its minimalist concept (meaning no dressers/closets/safe to store your belongings), platform bed that sits too low and weak water pressure in the shower. The mini-fridge's constant humming proved too noisy for me at night when everything else was quiet, but the front desk promptly sent someone up, who offered to simply unplug the appliance since we were not going to use it anyway.
Bar area and restaurant are nice, though apparently always quite busy.
Location was ideal for us since we were visiting friends in its neighborhood, however it is a good 20-25 min drive from downtown so keep that in mind depending on where you need to be.More
