If you are looking for a great place to stay where you feel welcome from the time you walk in the door until you leave, have wonderful food at breakfast and delightful conversation at the breakfast table, then this is the place for you! It is not far from Lancaster for outlet shopping and many great restaurants.

This B&B is a perfect place for a quiet getaway. We have stayed here on several occasions and it has always been a wonderful experience. The Innkeepers, Dave and Bonnie are some of the nicest people we have met and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable, pleasant and enjoyable. This B&B is exceptionally clean and the breakfast is amazing! We will not hesitate to return again and again. We highly recommended this B&B,as well as, Dave and Bonnie's other B&B, the Bayberry Inn in Ocean City, NJ. We highly recommend both B&B's to the experienced B&B visitor and anyone considering trying a B&B for the first time.

Perfect get away for a dose of Christmas cheers & relaxation. We enjoyed the various local shops at Kitchen Kettle & found some gifts for friends & family. We had a lovely lunch by the fire at Kling restaurant then headed to Country Heart B & B where we were welcomed by our hosts Bonnie & David. The inn is a well preserved piece of Lancaster county history. We settled in our beautiful room which featured a jacuzzi, Amish quit and antique furniture. We then joined our friends for wine in the living room by the Christmas tree. Our host David gave us insights into the home history & local history as well. David is a history buff especially Lancaster County & WWII. We had arranged with Bonnie at the time of booking for dinner at an Amish home. The experience was truly memorable. We were welcomed into the home of an Amish family where we enjoyed a home cook feast and a fun time with the whole family. We returned to the Country Heart for a night cap then a restful sleep to sounds of logs crackling in the heart of our bedroom fireplace . Next morning, Bonnie treated us to a delicious breakfast featuring some of her Amish recipes. We came back rejuvenated & with wonderful memories. Definitely, will go back .

Room Tip: Promos with the fireplace are a treat.

We were so glad we picked this B&B, it was off the beaten path and right in the heart of Amish country. We heard horse & buggies pass by our window. Dave has a wealth of knowledge about the Amish way of life, which he shared with us. If your timing is right you can even schedule a meal with an Amish family. Being the only guests for a Sunday to Monday stay in November, Dave and Bonnie graciously kept us company while we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. They even had a fire in the houses original hearth to keep us warm. The home, which was built in the 1700's is beautifully decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cozy. The rooms are fantastic, we loved the jacuzzi tub! We were made to feel at home, we would definitely recommend a visit, and hope to get back again ourselves.

We have stayed at County Hearth twice, and will return. It is a beautiful, cozy home. The rooms all have jacuzzi tubs and some have fireplaces. Bonnie and Dave are friendly, welcoming hosts and they keep their home clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always delicious and the other guests are friendly to talk and eat with. Pearl (their dog) is sweet and loves guests. In addition, Bonnie and Davo know the area well and will always know the best places to eat, shop, etc. if you need a suggestion. They are in a great location for all the local attractions. They put a lot of effort in to making their guests feel like family, and you won't be disappointed!
