We stayed here in August of 2006 for a wedding we attended at Cameron Estate Inn (seperate review). This B&B was quite charming. Each room has a prviate bath (not in room) and the owners provide wonderful robes for you to wear to and from the bathroom. When we checked in we were greeted by the delightful innkeeper boasting a plate of fresh baked cookies (yum!) and a vase of freshly picked flowers. The room was spotless and very charming with it's own AC unit and color TV set. There were several dishes of well placed chocolates and other candies, as well as a complimentary bottle of wine and glasses.
The innkeepers are very sweet and allow you to do your own thing. You are provided with your own key and they reside in a seperate part of the home with their own private stairway which allows guests wonderful privacy, but they are available should you need anything. Breakfast is anytime you would like between 8am-11am and they are very accomodating with food preferences.
Breakfast was wonderful, the best eggs benedict I have ever had, accompanied by delicious fresh fruit. The B&B is located close to Hershey, Lancaster, and the Renaissance Fair. There are quaint antique shops in nearby Marietta, and I would recommend dining at Josphine's in Marietta (outrageous crabcakes). This B&B also has a private cottage that can be rented that looked perfectly romantic for a weekend getaway. The rates are very reasonable and you get a Hershey bar as a parting gift.
