We had found this place a few years back and enjoyed our meal there...and then forgotten where it was.
We found it again this trip and stopped in for brunch. One of the specials was a western omelet with home fries. Delicious omelet, generously sized, and the pile of home fries was different--and enjoyable, with a heap of fried onions on top.
My wife had a chicken-corn chowder that might have been a bit skimpy on the chicken; but was hearty, tasty and filling.
The coffee didn't seem as good as my memory had it being; but it was passable.
The service was friendly and quick, the food was good, the atmosphere is very pleasant. We'll probably hunt the place down again on another trip through the area.

Foods is always good but the place could be cleaner, you get what you pay for. Had creamed chipped beef on toast.

We went to Windmill on the recommendation of a family meme be who had eaten there many years ago. The waffles had a great reputation. We were not at all disappointed. The waffles and pancakes were delicious and light. I've never had pancakes that light before. It felt like I was biting into a cloud. The ham slice my son got was nice and thick. The sausage and eggs tasted wonderful. Everything about the experience was great. Our server, Lynda, was pleasant and had a nice smile.

Every time here the food is not cooked. Including pink chicken. Even French fries come out nearly Raw.
There is one server who is good, otherwise the service here has been pretty bad lately. Several unpleasant At best waitresses with very negative attitudes. This place is going downhill big time. maybe I'll come back in 6 months or so and see if they cleaned up their act. It's a shame, because there are not many places to go around here. That's probably why they survive. If there were other options nearby I'm pretty sure these guys would tank. Lack of competition is always a bad thing.
