It was 3 am and my plan to make it all the way to scranton in one hop was a bust. I found this motel while wandering kinda lost due to poor data signal in the mountains.

Room was $55 (59 with tax). Sheets thin. No real blanket just a beadspread. I slept fine on the bed.

Room was spacious enough. Tv had a basic selection of channels.

There was a musty smell but it wasnt that bad. And I can't say i noticed it after the a/c was on for a bit.

Wifi was ok not great. Staff at check in was very courteous.

A good value for a place to sleep for the night but not somewhere to stay on vacation. I suppose it really comes down to managing expectations. This was just about the value i would expect for the money i paid. I'm sure they could buy all new everything but then it wouldn't cost $55 on a Tuesday night.

$55 and tax (midweek) got me a hot shower in clean surroundings and a good night's sleep. That's a fraction of the price of a night in jerry-built private-equity-owned chain next to the interstate. People do love to complain, don't they?

Place to rest your head. Musty smell but I was glad I brought my frebreeze and lysol spray. Definitely bring your own blanket and pillow. Place was clean but it was lacking amenities(no blow dryer, no conditioner) and towels in the room. The windows did not lock. Went to get coffee around 6:30am in the office and there wasn't a person in sight. So no coffee. Shower was great had water pressure. Beds were hard. Their blankets and sheets are very old and clearly very worn out. The sheets didn't even cover the beds mattress. But for the price I can't complain.

The office person was either rude or thought he was funny... neither worked.
Found out that they put plastic under the sheets!!! Sweated all night long, and the noise of the plastic was horrible!!. otherwise it was clean, although vintage 60's decor. Screen on door was torn loose and flapping. Also, DON'T EAT AT THE VILLAGE DINER on the hwy back about 3 miles

I can only deduce that any good, 5-star reviews on this site are planted.
The prices change based upon the day you call and they will not honor a previous quote the day prior. For what you pay, this is not at all a good value. The internet does not have a strong signal, the bed is uncomfortable, and it appears as if nothing has been updated since the 60's. The room is seedy with a stale odor in the air, and the staff were rude upon check-in. I would suggest either getting an equivalent motel at a lower price, or just throw in the extra 40-50 bucks tostay at the Best Western or Days Inn down the road.
The one good thing that I can say is that the shower was larger than expected, and it's walking distance (.6 miles from town.)
