I will make this short and sweet...

1) Dont waste your time asking for an "amish experience". Our 300 square foot room consisted of a queen bed with an amish quilt. That was it. Anthony mentioned that amish ladies cleaned for the Inn. I didn't see one amish person on the property. Our shower was littered with black mold. The shower head was even caked with black mold. So much for cleanliness. Our soap dish was falling off of the wall. We were kindly moved to another room. For what we paid for the tiny room we should've been comped a suite. No such luck. Housekeeping didn't come to our room at all the first day. We never got coffee or soaps replinished in our room the entire stay. We resorted to ordering room service for our coffee each morning. $8 each day for a small carafe of coffee. Bummer.

2) Make sure you are away from any sort of wedding venue. The walls are so thin that you will hear every squeal, every song that is being played and every toast being made. Especially if alcohol is involved. There were 3 weddings during our 3 day stay and each one was as noisy and rowdy as the other. I went out on the common porch the next morning and cigarette butts and beer bottles littered the walkway. Very unsightly to say the least.

3) The beds are comfortable. The gardens are gorgeous. In fact the the gardens were the best part of our stay. We paid ALOT booking through a third party site. Big mistake. When checking out there were no apologies. We were offered bottled water for our trip home.

The attention to detail for the "perfect" getaway is very lax. Housekeeping and maintenance need to be on the same page. The mini blinds in our room were broken. The sink had black mold around the bowl that I myself cleaned. I'm giving this property a 3 not because of the service but because of the atmosphere and gardens. We will not be back.

Thank you so much for your feedback and concerns about your most recent stay with us. Cleanliness is very important to us we pride ourselves on having very high standards for all rooms. Any concerns you have mentioned about housekeeping or maintenance will certainly be investigated and addressed. We apologize if all of your coffee k-cups was used in your room. A simple call to the front desk and we would of been happy to bring you up some complimentary replacements. I did want to clarify any room service order through the restaurant such as a carafe of coffee does require a charge. Alternately we do offer complimentary fresh coffee in the entrance of our casual restaurant for all hotel guest where we do have a wonderful Ala carte breakfast available 7 days a week. Thank you on the great feed back on our beautiful gardens as well. It is a very lovely area to take a stroll through to view all of the fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit in which this time of year the gardens are flourishing and fantastic for pictures. Again thank you for taking time to fill our this review we always appreciate all feedback.

From the moment you pull into the parking lot you just know this hotel is special. Having travel extensively throughout the US, Asia and Europe this hotel reminds me of the fine luxuries that European boutique hotels offer. From the cheerful bell man that greets you at the door to the front desk staff it's just so nice to experience good service and helpfulness. There are so many things that I fell in love with at this hotel especially the beautiful interior design, the interesting stories behind the "tobacco barn" building, the whimsical flying pig logo with flying pigs peeking out around the property - fun, you had me at the front door. Walking the grounds I found so many beautiful treasures placed so thoughtfully around the building and gorgeous fountains in addition to a beautiful pool - a slice of Europe in Lancaster County. So serene with all of the comforts of home without all of the daily noise in my home. Let's talk food! WOW, I had the pleasure to eat at both of their restaurants, words can't describe my meals, they were just incredible (and that isn't doing it justice). I just never wanted the plate to be empty - really. Can't wait to go back, relax, enjoy the scenery and do a little shopping therapy at the nearby outlets for a fun girls getaway weekend. Thank you to the Inn at Leola Village for making my mini vacation so grand!

Room Tip: All rooms are nice.

Inn at Leola is a quiet getaway, perfect for two. It offers a pleasant staff, good food, and a pretty setting. Our Groupon made the experience quite affordable and we hope to make the drive to Leola sometime again in the near future.

If you’re looking for a first class place to stay, this is the place. Everything from the food to your room to the friendliness of the staff is outstanding. We come here every year and enjoy the uniqueness of each room. We had some special treats waiting for us in our room upon our arrival. If you’re looking for an elegant setting for a wedding, look no further. We also love the history behind the inn. Put this place at the top of your list.

We recently stayed at The Inn at Leola Village. The room accommodations are so beautiful! We had great room service after a long day of travel! The pool is so nice to relax or cool off on a hot day! The breakfast and dinner was also great! They have indoor and outdoor dining tables! There is a nice gift shop and a spa there as well! The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained! I cannot wait to return!
