My family visited Kosciuszko National Park on a number of occasions over the past week. Entry into the higher peaked area is $30 per car. We were most impressed with the regular snow ploughs, which kept the roads relatively clear, despite the thick snow. We loved discovering areas such as Sawyer’s Hut, where our girls loved playing in the snow, and toilet facilities are located. We look forward to visiting again.

Totally beautiful National Park. I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful.

Keep going past the Thredbo ski fields and you get to go through beautiful forest covered in snow. Gun tress in the snow are so beautiful.

It’s such a stunning place to ski, sledge at Cascade Trail, go for a dive and be in awe.

Mt Koscuisko is probably the oldest range in the sth hemisphere ! It’s sheer beauty quiet mystery n gradient exhilarates the spirit and soul ! It’s a 4-6 hrs roundabout walk to the summit n back to chairlift ! Not safe during winter as the treks are covered with snow n icy patches ! Summer is best time to attempt thier massive trails to Charlotte pass n perisher ! Never fails to thrill my senses everytime we do it’s walks !

We took the ski-lift up to not quite the top, after a 400m steep walk we hit the amazing paved path and metal track. The top was magical, covered in snow that was slowly melting and making little pools. Dramatic boulders and delicate alpine grasses in every direction. A fresh mountain stream. We only made it to the lookout, but it was brilliant.
