Getting up close and personal with pelicans is a must when you visit The Entrance. The pelican feeding I saw on Friday was very impressive - most of all for the wonderful information and care the presenter and "feeders" gave to the pelicans. Its all about checking their health and well being - while feeding them a juicy fish head.
I was very surprised by how large the pelicans are and what big beaks they have.

Amazing! This is a must do. I thought it would be very average but totally amazing. Get up & close with Australia’s largest water bird. The presenter was a wealth of information, so not only was it super cool but really educational. 10/10.

Decided to take relatives from overseas but didnt really enjoy it mainly due to the high number of foreign tourists that go and can be so ignorant and rude so ruin it for other people. If you want to fight to get a good view to see the pelicans being fed then you will enjoy it.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the pelican feeding. Unfortunately during the peak times it does get very busy and sometimes it's hard for everyone to see. I will pass on your feedback to the coordinator and to see if the crowds can be better managed in the peak times.
