Rolled up with my two mates to check-in, excited and happy ... The lady, let's not mention any names, but we called her Olga - was anything but excited or happy and didn't even know we were coming, even though we've booked online one day before. We don't name people for no reason, but she actually didn't even introduce herself, and that's why Olga was used. Olga should not be on the welcome committee.
Begrudging does not begin to describe her attitude to customer service. We felt unwelcome and a bit confused when Olga annoying waived in one direction and said; there's your room.
The room was smaller than expected, but clean. What annoyed us a little bit was the fact that the family room was supposed to have a private bathroom, as clearly stated on the website when we booked, which we soon discovered we had to share with Olga who had left her toiletries and private stuff strewn about (eg. Razor and toothbrush). For the price, we expected more. A shared bathroom should have attracted a discounted rate. But no.
And about for the "free wifi".... Only after asking what we were going to use the wifi for were we given instructions to just use the neighbours one.
Basic breakfast was included which was ok. Nothing unexpected for a backpackers.
