This little patch of rainforest is perfect for a short bushwalk with toddlers. We managed to spot a bower bird nest, see plenty of birds, and fungi. This would be an absolutely perfect day trip in the Southern Highlands if you're away for a weekend with toddlers. No more than 15 mins ambling from the car park in a loop. Pram and wheelchair accessible too. A great patch of paradise. Thank you Robertson Environment Protection Society for preserving it.

Went here for a short walk after a long day in the car. It is only small but very interesting as far as flora and fauna is concerned. Bower birds and black cockatoos were the highlights.

Visiting this Yarrawa Brush rainforest reserve is like stepping into another world. My kids loved exploring the pathways. The vines and ferns are magnificent! Well worth a visit.

It may be small, but cleverly winding paths make you think you are wandering through a much larger forest. Thoughtful and discrete signage provide as much, or as little, information as you need. Altogether refreshing and restful, a 5-minute walk through the reserve is like emerging from some kind of ioniser. A great place to clear the mind and listen to birdsong and peace.
